We understand your banking relationship is of the utmost importance to you. As the COVID-19, or Coronavirus, continues to influence activities in and around our communities, First Security Bank would like to provide you with guidance regarding activities and decisions we may take as this situation develops.
First, our bank will continue to be open and serve our customers and communities. This may involve some temporary changes; however, we want to assure you we have systems in place to continue operations involving a variety of circumstances.
Secondly, our banks offer a variety of convenient banking options through our internet and mobile banking platforms. These options are available at your local First Security Bank location.
Thirdly, we will be in close contact with local representatives including city and school administrators, healthcare providers and other government outlets to help guide us in our efforts to continue providing you with the best service possible.
Currently, our banks are operating through drive-through lanes where available. We ask you call ahead to schedule appointments when your need requires in-person service so we can guide you through the steps we have implemented at this time. In addition, we have established some thresholds which are being monitored and could facilitate changes in how services are provided to our customers:
- We will be guarding against spreading any virus or illness by keeping all employees exhibiting health related symptoms away from the bank for the suggested time frames established by the health care professionals. This may mean some bank employees might not be present at the branch location. However, they may be working remotely to ensure our customer service standards are maintained at the highest level.
- We will make efforts to reduce personal contact with customers in close proximity. Please call to schedule appointments if your need requires in-person service. Handshakes and traditional gestures may be limited for our mutual safety.
- You may see the added use of sanitizer or protective items such as rubber gloves or face masks at our branch locations. This is for our mutual protection.
- As a reference point, we are generally following the lead of our local schools to determine our lobby hours. As our local schools have closed, we have closed our lobbies while still offering drive-through services (where available), night drop or electronic service options. All changes to how our services will be provided will be posted via local media outlets as well as at our website and Facebook social media page.
- As an additional reminder, please be aware of scams. Suspicious emails or calls which request things such as personal information, account numbers, passwords or similar things would be very unusual and should raise a red flag.
As the situation evolves, we are committed to maintaining contact with you to keep you informed. Our website, located at www.firstsecuritybanks.com and our Facebook page at First Security Banks will be additional sources of information to ensure each of our communities has the most current information regarding your banking services.
We thank you for your business as we all work together to navigate through this unusual time as related to the COVID-19 situation. Our goal is to provide you with as much information as possible while making your banking experience as smooth and seamless as possible. Thank you for your consideration and cooperation.
